Who is Eligible for the
RCIP?
To meet the atlantic immigration program requirements, applicants must:

General Eligibility Criteria
• Valid job offer from a designated employer in a participating community
• Minimum one year (1,560 hours) of relevant work experience in the last three years
• Language proficiency in English or French through an approved language test
• Canadian or equivalent foreign educational credential
• Sufficient settlement funds for the applicant and family members

Special Exemption for Graduates
International students who graduated from a public post-secondary institution in the recommending community may, under specific conditions, be exempt from the work-experience requirement.
