Who is Eligible for PGWP
Canada?

To meet official PGWP requirements, applicants must:

Graduate from a PGWP-eligible Designated Learning Institution (DLI)

Maintain full-time student status (IRCC-approved exceptions apply)

Hold a valid study permit during studies

Applicants Outside Canada

Must wait for PGWP approval before starting work

Complete a full-time program of at least 8 months

Apply within 180 days of program completion

Applicants Inside Canada

May start working full-time after applying (if eligible)
